Tamarin Bay on the east side of Mauritius is a world-class break

It’s smack in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

Grand Baie and Tamarin are two budget places to stay and surf on this otherwise pricey isle. The SW quarter of the island has a number of breaks as the barrier reef is breached by many passes there. Water Temp is 18C. Great spot for a honeymoon.
