The best air coverage of the Pacific is provided by Air New Zealand. With excellent service and free board transport, it's hard to go wrong with the Kiwi national airline.

If you visit Western Samoa, the independent republic to the west of American Samoa, get one of Jason's Passport maps. Look for the big map available from tourist offices and the larger hotels.

The Kingdom of Tonga is well covered by Tonga on the Net. A homier version of life on Tongatapu is presented on this site.

Fijians have been reknown for their welcome since they had all those missionaries for lunch in the 1800s. Now they've got an official welcome site, BulaFiji. "Bula" means "hello" in Fijian.
